This issue of the Malta Journal of Education contains the research presented at the third Annual Symposium of the Institute for Education on the subject of ‘The neuroscience of learning – Triggering the brain for holistic development’. It explores research on the cognitive processes involved in learning and how the knowledge of these cognitive processes can inform and transform educational practices.
